Intimate Wedding at Joia Beach | The Mendieta Celebration | Andrea Laitano Miami Photographer

On April 12th, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding at Joia Beach in Miami. The Mendieta celebration was intimate, elegant, and full of warm energy — exactly the kind of day that reminds me why I love what I do.

The ceremony took place by the water just as the sun started to dip, casting a soft golden glow over the palm trees and string lights. The setting was effortlessly romantic. The bride walked down the sand aisle in a stunning lace gown, holding a classic bouquet of white roses and surrounded by family and friends.

After the ceremony, we captured some portraits along the shoreline with the Miami skyline in the background. The night continued with dinner and dancing under Joia Beach’s thatched roof and twinkle lights — a perfect mix of tropical and cozy.


It was such a joy to document this moment for the Mendieta family. Weddings at Joia Beach always offer something magical, and this one was no exception.
